A month on, these places on our list have had no visitors: [![Map of countries the TSE community has visited as of October 2016, from TravelTip.org][1]][1] * Africa - Angola, Benin, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, CAR, Chad, Comoros, Congo-Brazzaville, Djibouti, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Gabon, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Libya, Mauritius, Mayotte, Niger, Nigeria, Reunion, São Tomé and Príncipe, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan * Asia - British Indian Ocean Territory, North Korea, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, Yemen * Atlantic islands - French Southern Territories, Saint Helena-Ascension Island-Tristan da Cunha * Pacific islands - American Samoa, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru, Niue, Palau, Pitcairn Islands, Tokelau, Tuvalu, Wallis and Futuna * North America - Bonaire/Sint Eustatius/Saba, Grenada, Guadeloupe, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago * South America - Guyana Country-level visitation is quite a low standard, but even by this crude measure, we have an enormous gap across central Africa from Niger to Angola. Imagine if we took this down to the [county level][2]; I don't even crack the 16% mark for the U.S. Standouts to me include Nigeria, the largest economy and most populous country in Africa; and Trinidad & Tobago, a major transportation and commercial hub. Minor surprises: Burundi, recently popular among backpackers as an add-on to Rwanda; and world-traveler-bucket-list toppers North Korea and Tristan da Cunha.
