In order to make our site better we need to have some quick overview about some important aspects. For this purpose I wrote three small applications that do the following:
Analyze all tags that we have and list those that haven't yet a wiki excerpt. This should alleviate the search for tags that have to taken be care of. The application is available here.
Stack Exchange lists some hot questions over all sites. If one of our questions is listed there, it generates a lot of attention for our site. To keep an overview about the questions that are currently in the hot list, I wrote this application.
Statistics are important to see the progress of the site. Unfortunately the default statistics doesn't provide a lot of insights. Therefore I wrote this application that retrieves all possible stats from the API and also stores it in a
CSV
file so that it can be used later to make charts or similar things.
My question now is: Are these applications useful? What else do we need to know?
